BEST PERFORMERS

Every landscape designer and home gardener alike seem to find their 'favorite' plants to work with for a variety of reasons. It could be the scent they pleasure you with, how fast they grow, how good they look with minimal maintenance, or it could just be the color and shape of its flower. We have come up with a list of go-to native plants that are suitable for a Full Sun, Dry garden here in Napa County that seem to touch on all of those reasons. These fall under the Very Low- Low Water need category and offer interest year round.

First Row: Blue Eyed Grass (Sisyrinchium bellum), Yarrow (Achillea millefolium), 'Margarita BOP' Foothill Penstemon (Penstemon heterophyllus) Second Row: Deer Grass (Muhlenbergia rigens), Narrow Leaf Milkweed (Asclepias fascicularis), Salvia 'Bees Bliss' Third Row: Salvia clevelandii 'Winnifred Gilman', Dwarf Coyote Bush (Baccharis pilularis 'Pigeon Point'), California Fescue (Festuca californica)
